Todays workshop was Mini Pics. Using drawing techniques to create small works of art. These were then made in to magnets or picture stands. One participant said she could only copy and not make up things. She ended up designing her own logo. I’m so pleased for her.
Parade of Lights
It’s that time of year again. I have designed fabulous ‘Funky Woodland Folk’ costumes to go in to this years Festival of Lights. My costumes are for Unity 70 so I have been making the costumes to fit all. Today I started to make a tutus. Such Fun.
Wonderful Wire Work
The sun was shining and the creativity was flowing. Todays workshop was Wire Work. Manipulating colourful wires in to shapes and designs to create works of art. Some made jewellery while others made thoughtful gifts for the home.
Fun in Uxbridge
A manic couple of days teaching cap and bag decorating workshops. Nearly 300 children got their creative juices flowing. Adults had as much fun as the kids and were deep in concentration. Being Bookish
Today’s workshops was about making books. They could be photo albums, note books, sketch books or memory books. They are a pretty way to hold your recipes and your favourite jokes or poems.
